Fab Food @ EXPO 2015

Type: interactive exhibit.

Place: EXPO (Milan 2015).

Role: Software design and development.

Description: An exhibit on industry and food production shaped after a luna park from the 90’s.

Chili TV Windows 8

Client: Codemachine s.r.l. –> Chili TV s.p.a.
Type: Windows 8 tablet app.
Technology: Visual Studio, C#, WinRT, PlayReady, HTTP.
Description: as a part of a multiplatform team, I developed the Windows 8 client of the ChiliTV video on demand platform.

Brainwave

Client: Torrevado s.r.l.
Type: Interactive videoinstallation.
Place: Mediateca Santa Teresa (Milan).
Technology: PiccoloPopolo, Visual C++, Direct3D, DirectShow, OSC, MindWave SDK.
Description: a user wears an ECG headset. His mood changes are used to navigate through synthetic video clips, driving the user to a state of meditation.

Mocolo 2.0

Client: OrfWare

Type: motion/presence detector.

Technology: Visual C++, DirectShow, TCP/IP, UDP, OSC, Real-time image analysis.

Description: an application which uses video cameras to detect and parametrize presence and motion of people inside user defined areas. Version 2.0 sports a better user interface and the ability to monitor many different video sources at the same time.

Blade Metrics Plus

 

Client: Officina Meccanica Perico.

Type: CAD/numerical analysis.

Place: Bonate Sopra (2007).

Technology: Visual C++, GDI.

Description: geometrical analysis of turbine’s blade profiles. Number crunching and visualization are integrated in a laser measurement packet.

Mocolo 1.0

Client: OrfWare.

Cronocolo

Description: a camera captures the visitor’s image, and a monitor sends the captured images with an interactive delay.

Cingolo

Client: OrfWare.

Type: interactive multichannel video player.

Technology: Visual C++, Mpeg2, Digital I/O, MIDI, Visual Circuits SDK.

Description: software application for Visual Circuits Harmony Mpeg2 multichannel cards: allows to edit a playlist for each channel and to playback them interactively.

InCroM

Client: A.i.E.P. / Ariella Vidach.

Type: application for live performances.

Place: Bergamo, Festival Danza Estate 2003 (debut, still in use in 2008).

Technology: Visual C++, DirectShow, GDI, MIDI, Real-time image analysis.

Description: realtime image analysis software: the application follows the movement of performers wearing clothes of different colors; their coordinates are sent to external systems creating realtime music and graphics.
