Description: Multimedia exhibit for Salini Impregilo 110th anniversary. OrfWare realized two interactive exhibits: “Salini nel Mondo” and “Futuro”.

Fab Food @ EXPO 2015

Client: MUST–>Confindustria

Type: interactive exhibit.

Place: EXPO (Milan 2015).

Role: Software design and development.

Description: An exhibit on industry and food production shaped after a luna park from the 90’s.

OVS Kid Creative Lab @ EXPO 2015

Client: OVS–>M-Cube

Type: interactive exhibit.

Place: EXPO (Milan 2015).

Role: Software design and development.

Technology: Visual C++, Direct3D, DirectShow, OSC, Piccolo Popolo, Mocolo.

Description: A large touch-screen with a 4K video mackground. 4 browsing stands. A Motion-detection activated interactive particle system. The installations celebrates the Kid Creative Lab initiative from OVS & Peggy Guggenheim Collection.

ASUS Zensation

Client: ASUS–>AngelSign Studio

Type: interactive exhibit.

Place: Settimana del Design di Milano, via Tortona (Milan 2015).

Role: Software design and development, system integration, set up.

Technology: Visual C++, Direct3D, DirectShow, QuickTime, OSC, Piccolo Popolo, LeapMotion.

Description: three stands before a continuous projection. Putting your hand upon a device it appears in the projection before you. Then, moving your hand, you can select keywords from an interactive menu, and see an highlight on that topic.

diMostra

Type: interactive installation.

Place: Biblioteca Civica di Macherio (Macherio 2014).

Role: Design, software development.

Technology: Visual C++, C#, Direct3D, DirectShow, OSC, DAO, Piccolo Popolo.

Description: an interactive screen where the names of all the partners of CAI Macherio roam around obstructing a photograph. The visitors use an electric torch and make the names fade away to reveal the underlying image.
This installation is in loving memory of Francesco “Reda” Redaelli. My work here was a tribute to him, and a hug to Marilena, Silvia, Valeria and to my great, great friend Liliana.

1953 – 2013 Interpreting the World

Client: AIIC

Type: interactive exhibit.

Place: Fabbrica del Vapore (Milano 2013).

Technology: Visual C++, Direct3D, DirectShow, OSC.

Description: an exhibit to celebrate the 60th anniversary of AIIC. Twin interactive installations. Words randomly dance around the floor. Stepping on them, they run away, to form the words of a famous sentence from a famous personality. And then you can listen to the original sentence and to its translation.

1913-2013 Un Tesoro Centenario

Client: Studio Vertov

Type: interactive videoinstallations.

Place: Museo Teatrale Alla Scala (Milano 2013).

Technology: Visual C++, Direct3D, DirectShow, OSC.

Description: Installation “Requiem”: manuscript scores of Giuseppe Verdi projected onto interactive parchment. Touching the parchment the user selects a chapter and the music starts. The scores browse in synch with music. Installation “Authors”: six author’s signatures engraved on a table. When touched, a clip starts and a famous handwritten letter is read aluod, and it’s details are shown on a projection.

Museo del risparmio

Client: Banca Intesa San Paolo / NTT Data

Type: interactive videoinstallations.

Place: Museo del Risparmio (Turin 2013).

Technology: Visual C++, Direct3D, DirectShow, OSC.

Description: Two videoinstallations for the existing museum. Walk-in: a simple interactive floor at the entrance. Leggii: a touch interface for a pre-existing interactive video player. Now the user can select an historical character and choose to play clips about his life and his relationship with savings and banks.



Memoriale Garibaldi

Client: N!03 s.r.l.

Type: interactive multimedia museum.

Place: Memoriale Garibaldi (Caprera, Italy 2012).

Technology: Piccolo Popolo, Visual C++, Direct3D, DirectShow, OSC, RS232.

Description:  multimedia museum dedicated to the life and the battles of Giuseppe Garibaldi, the father of unified Italy.
I developed two interactive multiuser tables for this museum.


Il design da vivere ogni giorno

Client: N03 s.r.l. –> Ikea Italia s.p.a.

Type: interactive videoinstallation.

Place: Spazio Ventilò (Milano 2012).

Technology: Visual C++, Direct3D, DirectShow, OSC, Mocolo.

Description: Layers Ikea “landscapes” explored using a torch to carve out the present from the past.
