Description: an application which uses video cameras to detect and parametrize presence and motion of people inside user defined areas.

Type: permanent installation.

Place: Archivio di Stato (Geneva 2006).

Technology: Visual C++, DirectShow, GDI, TCP/IP.

Description: two side-by-side projections representing a map of Geneva (year 400). A touch screen shows a zoomed view of the map the user can drag around to see points of interest.

Bang!

Client: N!03 s.r.l.

Type: multimedia exhibit.

Place: Palazzo della Ragione (Bergamo 2006).

Technology: Visual C++, DirectShow, GMFBridge, Digital I/O, TCP/IP, Cingolo.

Description: Wind: visitors can blow on three anemometers placed in front of three big projections; doing so they change the playback speed of three clips and simulate the effect of wind. Earthquake: three independent projections are placed in front of a platform. Walking or jumping on the platform makes the three projection shake. Water: many projections are controlled by different taps. Opening a tap, water starts to flow in the projection. Vulcan: multiprojection managed by Cingolo (see).

Description: visitors cast their shadow on images out of focus. The system reacts to the shadows bringing in focus the parts covered by shadows.

Client: Stand By Media s.r.l.

Type: interactive carpet.

Place: Track of Fiorano, F1 Hangar (Maranello 2006).

Technology: Visual C++, Direct3D, TCP/IP, Real-time image analysis, Mocolo.

Description: many moving logos of Ferrari and ducati projected on on the floor; when someone enters the projection the logos flee away.

Il mito della velocità

Client: Stand By Media s.r.l.

Type: synchronized multivision.

Place: Manége of the Zar (Moscow 2006).

Technology: Visual C++, TCP/IP, DirectShow, Visual Circuits SDK, Digital I/O.

Description: 18 synchronized projections managed by three PCs. The system also interacted with the lighting and a robot.

Stanza Bianca

Description: the walls of a room are covered by white projections. When a visitor enters the room, the floor becomes a rainbow, and the walls become of the color the visitor is walking on.

Description: five white books and a projection on each one. Touching a book, its projection starts video playback.
